LinkedIn scanning users' browser extensions sparks controversy and two lawsuits

LinkedIn is facing two lawsuits over its practice of scanning users' browser extensions. The lawsuits, filed by different law firms in California, cite the BrowserGate report by Fairlinked, which is linked to Teamfluence, an Estonian company. LinkedIn claims Teamfluence violated its terms by scraping user data through a browser extension.
