Native Americans were gambling with dice 6,000 years earlier than anyone else, study says

A study claims Native American hunter-gatherers used dice for gambling over 12,000 years ago on the western Great Plains of North America, predating similar practices elsewhere by 6,000 years. Archaeological evidence suggests these early games of chance occurred at the end of the last ice age.
