Single mother of 3 dies after saving a stranger’s child from drowning in creek
Single mother of three, Sarah Jo Reeder, died after attempting to rescue a stranger’s child from drowning in a creek in Alvaton, Kentucky. She was pulled underwater by the child during the rescue, and though both were pulled to safety by a paddle boarder, Reeder later died due to lack of oxygen. Friends and family have launched a fundraiser to cover her funeral costs and care for her children.
