Three sentenced after convictions in Elizabeth City

Three individuals were sentenced after being convicted in cases investigated by the Elizabeth City Police Department. Nicholas Shaughnessy, 35, received up to 13 years and six months in prison for first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, indecent liberties, and intimidating a witness.
