Two California students swept out to sea and drowned while napping on beach
Two California students, Harshita Nair, 21, and Mahial Sran, 20, drowned after being swept out to sea at a Santa Cruz beach due to massive waves and dangerous rip currents. They were pulled from the water by rescue crews but later died at local hospitals.
