Mangione to pursue psychiatric defense in UnitedHealthcare CEO killing case

Luigi Mangione will use a psychiatric defense in his state murder trial for killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Judge Gregory Carro confirmed the defense's plan to argue extreme emotional disturbance at the time of the shooting, which could result in psychiatric treatment instead of prison.
