A Russian warship sailing between England and France fired warning shots at a British civilian yacht

A Russian frigate, Admiral Grigorovich, fired warning shots at a UK-registered yacht, Bright Future, in the English Channel after failed attempts to communicate, according to the Russian defense ministry. The UK defense ministry stated the incident was unrelated to their recent seizure of a shadow fleet tanker, MV Smyrtos.
