Brazil Regulator Suspends Ecopetrol’s Brava Takeover
Brazil’s market regulator has suspended Colombia’s Ecopetrol’s takeover of oil producer Brava Energia. The regulator ordered changes to the offer, prompting Ecopetrol to appeal the ruling. Ecopetrol offered $4.50 per share to gain majority control of the company.
