Lithuania’s prime minister to be replaced by head of ruling party
Lithuania’s ruling Social Democratic Party leader Mindaugas Sinkevičius will replace Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė and form a new coalition government excluding the Dawn of Nemunas party, which was removed due to its chair's antisemitic convictions. The new coalition, including the Union of Democrats 'For Lithuania', aims to address security concerns from recent drone incursions and strengthen defense policies.
