Naqvi vows crackdown on sectarian content online as Muharram Peace Committee meets in Islamabad
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister Tallal Chaudhry chaired a meeting of the Paigham-i-Aman Committee to discuss Muharram arrangements and measures to combat sectarian content online. The committee decided to take action against those spreading incitement on social media and emphasized promoting inter-sect harmony. Naqvi credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for facilitating the US-Iran agreement.
