Nashville police warning of scam involving housing, renting deposits that’s already affected about 200 residents

The Metro Nashville Police Department warns of an ongoing housing scam affecting about 200 residents, where criminals use Facebook Marketplace and similar sites to collect rental deposits for properties that are never available. Police will hold a press conference to explain the scam and provide prevention tips.
