Investigation alleges European trade helps sustain Israeli settlements

A report by Global Echo alleges that European imports include Israeli settlement produce mislabeled as Israeli goods, benefiting from tariff preferences. The investigation found that 1 in 6 shipments to Europe between October 2017 and February 2026 contained such produce, with European importers accused of financially sustaining the settlements.
