Myers Park HS student charged in connection with shooting near Romare Bearden Park

A 16-year-old Myers Park High School student has been charged in connection with a weekend shooting near Romare Bearden Park in Uptown Charlotte. Two individuals were shot and hospitalized but are expected to survive, while the Ink N Ivy restaurant was also struck by gunfire. Two suspects, including Jamariae Blue, were arrested, with Blue charged with assault with a deadly weapon and held on a $750,000 bond.
