Hochul rolls out regulatory reforms across 22 state agencies to limit ‘burdensome’ fees, paperwork

Governor Kathy Hochul announced 50 regulatory reforms across 22 state agencies under the 'Express NY' initiative to reduce fees, paperwork, and bureaucratic obstacles. The reforms include simplifying licensing renewals, eliminating fees for commercial measuring devices, expanding telehealth in assisted living facilities, and repealing 15 outdated labor regulations, including one from the 1950s.
