Cute but not so cuddly, armadillos are making their way north
Nine-banded armadillos have been spotted in Bernheim Forest, Kentucky, marking their first live sighting in the area. Climate change is contributing to their northward expansion as they seek warmer habitats. Armadillos are not considered invasive despite their range shift.
