Hypoplastic left heart syndrome patient thriving after 419-day wait for new heart at Children's Hospital CO

Five-year-old Ollie Wagner, born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, underwent three surgeries by age three and spent 419 days on a ventricular assist device before receiving a heart transplant. Now a year and a half post-transplant, he thrives, visiting the hospital dog park and reuniting with staff who cared for him during his lengthy recovery.
