Iran’s Security Council says US deal includes immediate ceasefire in Lebanon

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council announced that a U.S. agreement includes an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Lebanon and the end of the U.S. naval blockade on Iranian ports. The memorandum of understanding is set to be formally signed on 19 June, with negotiations for a final agreement contingent on the U.S. fulfilling its obligations. Pakistan and Qatar were credited for mediating the talks.
