UK seizes Russian shadow fleet vessel in Channel

The UK intercepted a Russian shadow fleet tanker, the Smyrtos, in the English Channel as part of efforts to disrupt Russian oil revenue. The operation involved Royal Marine commandos and military assets, marking the first such UK seizure since the invasion of Ukraine.
