Woman mauled by shark off Sydney beach grabs onto a lifeguard’s paddleboard
A woman was critically injured by a 3.5-meter white shark off Coogee Beach in Sydney and rescued by a lifeguard using a paddleboard. She sustained severe leg and arm injuries, requiring tourniquets and helicopter transport to a hospital. A bystander doctor and others assisted during the rescue.
