Iranian foreign minister says Strait of Hormuz will not return to pre-war status

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated the Strait of Hormuz will no longer operate as it did before the war, asserting it falls under Iran and Oman's sovereignty. He warned that the strait will become a deterrent tool, with Iran charging for services, and emphasized that talks on a final agreement depend on implementing the MoU's terms. Araghchi also reiterated Israel's need to withdraw from southern Lebanon.
