Bond increased to $2M for band director charged with rape in accused relationship with student in Sumner County

A former band director at White House High School, Dalton Hawkins, had his bond increased to $2 million after a preliminary hearing. He faces charges of statutory rape related to an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student, and his case has been sent to a grand jury. Hawkins has been terminated from his position at the school.
