Miami-Dade felon charged with murder, armed robbery in fatal bus stop beating, deputies say

A 57-year-old felon, James Thompson, faces second-degree murder and armed robbery charges after allegedly beating a man to death at a bus stop in southwest Miami-Dade following a dispute over a narcotics-related debt.
