Gastonia police, firefighters to face off in ‘Battle of the Badges’ baseball game for a good cause

Gastonia police and firefighters are competing in a charity softball game called the 'Battle of the Badges' on June 12 to support the Special Olympics of Gaston County. The event includes a wiffle ball game by Special Olympics athletes, food trucks, and K-9 demonstrations. The game is free to attend at Sims Legion Park.
