‘Horseplay’ backfires: Pasadena police officer accidentally shot by colleague

A Pasadena police officer was accidentally shot by a colleague during an incident of 'unsafe, out-of-policy horseplay' in a parking garage. Dash camera footage showed one officer drawing his weapon at another, leading to an accidental discharge that injured the standing officer. The officer who fired was later fired, while the injured officer has recovered and remains employed.
