Stranded boaters rescued from Duck River in Maury County

Two boaters were rescued from a cliff face on the Duck River in Maury County after their boat began sinking. The Maury County Fire Department coordinated the rescue, with some responders arriving by boat and others on foot. The 911 call center provided critical information to locate the stranded individuals, who were later transported to the Iron Bridge boat ramp.
