Stricter enforcement measures planned for CRZ violations, industrial pollution: T.N. Environment Minister

The Tamil Nadu Environment Minister announced plans for stricter enforcement of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) violations and industrial pollution. The government will enhance monitoring of biomedical waste management and conduct a scientific assessment of solid waste generation in selected areas to identify hotspots and infrastructure gaps.
