US House will attempt to pass extension of powerful surveillance law

The US House of Representatives will attempt to pass a short-term extension of a powerful surveillance law. Democrats plan to block the renewal of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in protest of Donald Trump's appointment of Bill Pulte as acting director of national intelligence.
