West Side Nonprofit Expands To Offer Free LGBTQ+ Mental Health Services
TaskForce Prevention and Community Services, a West Side Chicago nonprofit, has expanded to offer free LGBTQ+-affirming bilingual mental health therapy for youth, adults, couples, and families. The program, led by Annette Sandoval—a bilingual trans woman licensed therapist—aims to reduce barriers to care for uninsured, undocumented, or out-of-state individuals while continuing the organization’s history of culturally competent services.
