Back of Yards extra-alarm blaze injures 4, including 2 firefighters
A fire in the Back of the Yards neighborhood injured four people, including two firefighters, and displaced over a dozen residents. The extra-alarm blaze, which started near the 4500 block of South Ashland Avenue around 6:30 a.m., required over 100 firefighters and at least five ambulances to respond.
