Two Democrats seek to challenge Treasurer John Leiber, Wisconsin’s only GOP state office holder
Two Democrats will compete in the August primary to challenge Republican state Treasurer John Leiber in November's election. Leiber, elected in 2022, has pledged not to expand the treasurer's office and focuses on maintaining the Common School Fund. The Democratic candidates are Yee Leng Xiong and Dylan Helmenstine.
