SoCal cops stop sneaky smuggling operation after vehicles driven into Mexico
SoCal cops stopped a smuggling operation involving at least 12 newer-model Jeeps stolen since August 2025 and driven to Mexico to alter VINs and sell. Vehicles were smuggled across the border to modify identification numbers before being resold.
