California socialite and ex-Dodger must pay $22M in punitive damages over deaths of young brothers

A Los Angeles jury ordered California socialite Rebecca Grossman to pay $21 million in punitive damages and former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Scott Erickson to pay $1.17 million in punitive damages over the 2020 hit-and-run collision that killed 11-year-old Mark Iskander and 8-year-old Jacob Iskander. The verdict follows a civil trial where jurors found Grossman and Erickson negligent in the boys' deaths, in addition to a $176 million wrongful death and emotional distress award.
