New program in Broward will ticket drivers who pass stopped school buses

Broward County will implement a program starting in August using cameras on school buses to ticket drivers who pass stopped buses with extended stop arms. Violators will receive a $225 ticket, with $85 going to the county and $140 to the company Bus Patrol, which will manage the system.
