FBI seizes 13 websites that officials say were used by China to target and recruit US workers

The FBI has seized 13 websites linked to a Chinese effort to target U.S. workers with access to classified information through fake job postings. The websites, posing as consulting companies, used fraudulent identities and AI-generated photos to recruit individuals for sensitive roles, with payment via cryptocurrency to conceal operators' identities.
