Democrat Richard Pan advances in race for newly redrawn California House district

Richard Pan advances to the November ballot in California’s 6th Congressional District after a primary. The district was redrawn by Democrats to favor their party. Mai Vang will challenge Rep. Doris Matsui in a Democrat-on-Democrat race, while other veteran Democrats like Brad Sherman and Mike Thompson also progressed.
