Arrest made in murder of South Florida insurance executive in midst of whistleblower suit
Arman Motiwalla, a 37-year-old insurance executive from Plantation, was murdered in the parking lot of his Boca Raton workplace on April 8. Willie Byrd, 42, of Boynton Beach, was arrested and linked to the crime through a vehicle and a note containing Motiwalla’s name and addresses. Motiwalla was involved in a whistleblower lawsuit against his former employer but authorities found no connection between the case and his killing.
