A second detainee, Mamuka Artmeladze, has died at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Louisiana within two months, following the death of Alejandro Cabrera Clemente. The facility, managed by Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office and LaSalle Corrections, faces reports of insanitary conditions and medical care issues. Artmeladze’s cause of death is pending an autopsy, while Cabrera’s death was attributed to natural causes.
