India nears completion of strategic Himalayan tunnel near China border

India's Zojila tunnel near the China border is nearing completion, providing all-weather access to Ladakh. The 13.14-kilometre tunnel, part of a broader infrastructure network, connects Jammu and Kashmir with Ladakh and was completed by over 3,000 workers since 2020. The project aims to enhance connectivity for trade, troops, and supplies in the region.
