Monsoon enters South Konkan, State advises farmers to defer sowing
The monsoon has entered South Konkan, with the Agriculture and Disaster Management Department forecasting rainfall in Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts until June 9. Farmers are advised to defer sowing as monsoon activity in other parts of Maharashtra remains weak.
