North Miami Beach woman charged in hit-and-run that left pedestrian seriously injured

A North Miami Beach woman was arrested and charged after hitting a pedestrian with her vehicle and fleeing the scene, causing serious injuries. The victim was hospitalized with a head laceration and other injuries, while the driver, identified as Shannon Mackey, was later located at a residence where damage consistent with the crash was found.
