Court allows ED access to SFIO documents in CMRL pay-off case
A court in Ernakulam allowed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to access documents collected by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) in a case involving alleged fictitious expenses submitted by the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) to the Income Tax Settlement Commission. The decision was made by Ernakulam Additional District and Sessions Judge Suresh Babu V.P.M. following a petition filed by the ED.
