Bicyclist dead after Bridgeport traffic crash

A 35-year-old bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle in Bridgeport, Chicago, on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4:40 p.m. in the 3200 block of S. Halsted Street. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.
