Miami-Dade man still wanted in ‘Operation Hammer Time' retail theft bust, sheriff says

A Miami-Dade man, Roberto Hernandez-Castro, remains at large in connection with 'Operation Hammer Time,' an organized retail theft scheme targeting hardware stores across 13 Florida counties. The operation involved smash-and-grab burglaries stealing high-end tools, causing over $500,000 in stolen goods and damages. Two suspects are arrested, one suspect died during a burglary, and authorities suspect additional individuals may face charges.
