Nepra reduces electricity charges for three months

Nepra reduced electricity charges by 80 paisa per unit in June and Rs1.99 per unit for July and August, providing a net financial relief of Rs56 billion to consumers. The adjustments resulted from concurrent fuel cost and quarterly tariff revisions, impacting all consumer categories except lifeline, prepaid, and EV charging stations.
