Japanese National Sentenced to 12 Months in Prison for Conspiring to Export Firearm Components and Tactical Accessories to Japan

Shota Yamamoto, a 29-year-old from Tokyo, Japan, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for conspiring to export firearm components and tactical accessories to Japan. He pled guilty to violating the Export Control Reform Act and will be deported after completing his sentence.
