Manhunt underway in west, NW suburbs stemming from series of catalytic converter thefts

A manhunt for suspects involved in catalytic converter thefts is underway in the north and west suburbs after a suspect fled on foot following a police chase. Police deployed tire deflation devices, but the suspects drove on damaged rims before abandoning the vehicle. One suspect was captured, while another remained at large as of 11:30 a.m.
