Body found in suburban pond identified as woman who went missing near outlet mall

A 32-year-old woman, Shafia Murad, who went missing near the Chicago Premium Outlets, was found dead in a pond near North Farnsworth Avenue and Corporate Boulevard. Police confirmed her identity through the Kane County Coroner’s Office and are continuing their investigation.
