Three Companies to Pay More Than $4 Million to Settle Lawsuit Stemming from Gender Reveal that Caused Inland Empire Wildfire

Three companies, including an Ohio-based smoke bomb designer and importer, will pay over $4 million to the United States to cover costs and damages from the El Dorado Fire of 2020. The fire, caused by a gender reveal photo shoot, burned nearly 23,000 acres and resulted in a firefighter's death.
