Three companies, including a smoke bomb designer and importer, agreed to pay $4 million after a deadly wildfire was sparked during a gender reveal party in Yucaipa, California, in 2020. The fire, caused by a pyrotechnic smoke device, scorched 22,744 acres, destroyed structures, and killed a firefighter.
