4-year-old child rescued from irrigation pipe at Fairfield school

A 4-year-old child was rescued from a 10-inch irrigation pipe at the Mary Bird Early Childhood Education Center in Fairfield on Monday. Firefighters took approximately 15 minutes to free the boy, who showed no visible injuries but was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
